Mike Cronin

Mike Cronin

Mike began working with theater in his high school years, followed by an extensive 15 year career at Iowa State, producing concerts and events. He then moved to Atlanta, Georgia, where he started working with the Atlanta Opera and the Atlanta Ballet. Mike then moved to be a part of the team that opened the Sanford Center in Bemidji, MN, and later served as their Director of Operations.

Mike then served as the Director of Facility Operations for the University of Missouri Athletics. When the pandemic hit in 2020 and shut down a large part of the technical production industry, Mike moved back to Iowa and spent a year working at a brewery prior to moving back to Bemidji. All the while, Mike has freelanced his talents across many states as a certified arena rigger and venue professional.

Mike currently serves as the Broadcast & Auditorium Technician for Bemidji Area Schools. He has spent a large portion of his career teaching and mentoring staff and students.

In his spare time, Mike enjoys long-distance bicycling and running.
