DESCRIPTION
The Business Career Academy is a competency-based training program designed to prepare graduating students for successful employment in the business world. The four tracks in the academy will help prepare the graduates with skills in accounting, business administration, marketing, entrepreneurial skills, information technology, and an appreciation of business ethics. The combination of job skills and awareness gained through this training is highly transferable to most jobs in local businesses.
ACADEMY INSTRUCTORS

Kevin Voeller graduated in 2007 from Sacred Heart High School in East Grand Forks, MN. He attended Valley City State University and obtained a degree in Business Education in 2012, received his Master's Degree in The Art of Teaching from BSU in 2021, and obtained his Work-Based Learning License in 2022.
He has been an instructor at Bemidji High School since 2016 in the business education department, coaches football, and works on technology integration within the classroom. His hobbies include kayaking and on the side; washes windows. Mr. Voeller is excited to be a part of the Business Education Career Academy.

Tyler Johnson graduated in 2010 from Jefferson Senior high school, in Alexandria MN. After high school, he attended Concordia College in Moorhead MN, where he played football and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Business and Administration in 2014. After college, Mr. Johnson worked in the business field for 8 years, whether it was sales, administration, etc.
He has been an instructor at Bemidji High School since 2022 in the business education department and tries to bring his real world experience into the classroom. Mr. Johnson also coaches football and track. His hobbies include hunting with his dog, camping, and spending time with his wife and son.
